In a newly created position, Kip O’Connell assumes the role of General Manager at ProTherm Supply. As General Manager, O’Connell’s areas of leadership include sales, purchasing, logistics, and strategy. He brings a depth of experience to his post, having served in Distribution and Fleet Operation at Filenes Department Stores, as Regional Manager with Land Transport, as Regional Manager with Premier Transportation, and with ABF Freight in Less-Than-Truckload Sales. In discussing his new responsibilities, O’Connell enthuses, “As the new General Manager, I am excited to bring my experience in problem-solving and logistics to help ProTherm better serve internal and external customers.” Noted as a team player, he says, “I am fortunate to work with an established team of dedicated people. My function will be to support them in their efforts, and to make sure they have the tools necessary to move ProTherm Supply through a period of growth and expansion.”
O’Connell, who studied at Boston University, previously served on the board of the Tri-State Transportation and Logistics Association.
Originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area, O’Connell resides in Newburgh, Indiana with his wife, Teresa. They are the parents of Seamus O’Connell and Kaleen O’Connell Layer.
Founded in 2009, ProTherm Supply serves the needs of mechanical insulation professionals in the Ohio Valley region. The company is headquartered in Evansville, Indiana.
